A bearded Jesus led the charge &#8212; adults &amp;\u00a0kids\u00a0in elaborate helmets, wigs, robes and sandals &#8212; while passers by waved and honked. Columnist\u00a0Chris MacDonald said he never anticipated\u00a0how lively and noisy it would be when he requested the cast &amp; crew go across the street from their play rehearsal for a photo in front of the signage. Even a\u00a0police helicopter flew over\u00a0the scene\u00a0checking out the costumed crowd assembled on the Sunset Beach greenbelt. The all volunteer group from Calvary Chapel of the Harbour (ccoth.com) presents an original play written by Pastor Joe Pedick&#8217;s wife, Kathleen, a former professional jazz singer from Scotland. The outfits were handmade for the event&#8217;s performances April 2 and 3, 2015 at 7 p.m., and at 10 a.m. on Easter Sunday.
