ARCADIA, CALIF. — There’s a sight you don’t see often–a stagecoach in the Los Angeles County Arboretum! Celebrate California history<\/a> \u00a0on Saturday, May 2, 2015\u00a0listening to\u00a0the clip-clop sound of horses pounding the pavement as you ride a stagecoach.\u00a0Bringing\u00a0added excitement to a place that’s colorful any day and season<\/a>\u00a0are\u00a0\u00a0activities such as learning how to rope,\u00a0panning for gold and seeing horses from the U.S. Marshall Posse. Enjoy the music of old-time calliopes and Victorian and cowboy fashion displays. The Queen Anne Cottage (seen in Fantasy Island,) Coach Barn and Santa Anita Depot will be open for touring. While visiting the arboretum be on lookout for the peacocks that roam. They give their location away by their sounds.
