1. Santa Barbara<\/strong> Summer Solstice Celebration<\/a>\u00a0(pictured) June 19-21, 2015\u00a0is the biggest art event on the Central Coast. The highlight of the festival is a parade on June 20 at State & Cota, with concerts, wine & beer gardens and family events taking place three days in Alameda Park. \u00a0Check\u00a0adulthood at the door when you enter this fantasy-filled extravaganza which\u00a0promotes the arts in\u00a0a grass roots manner. It is funded through\u00a0registration fees, sponsorships and\u00a0donations.<\/p>\n

2. Napa Valley <\/strong>Festival del Sole<\/a> July\u00a017-26, 2015 \u00a0couldn’t be more different than Santa Barbara’s festival, yet at the core\u00a0of its existence is same soulful passion. With the goal of offering programs that celebrate the art of life,\u00a0the\u00a010 day festival roster is filled with free concerts, Taste of Napa, and options\u00a0to become a patron, a premier \u00a0experience featuring\u00a0world famous entertainers such as Herb Alpert,\u00a0Deborah Voigt and Kevin Spacey. Patron\u00a0passes include fine dinners and stage performances starting at around $1,000 per day. \u00a0In 2014 a\u00a0marquee festival event, Gala at Meadowood Napa Valley, raised $1.45 million with a single auction item fetching $270,000.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
