Together, we decide what we will grow for the season, then create dishes and recipes to highlight what is in our garden and deliver the most seasonal, nutritional menu possible.\u201d<\/p>\n
He cultivates\u00a0fresh, seasonal, organic produce and herbs, working directly with Executive Chef Curtis Cooke and Dietician May Tom\u00a0to propagate heirloom ingredients that are free of harmful pesticides. Although Californians did not vote to pass labeling laws identifying foods containing GMOs, these foods and pesticides used in their production has been eyed as a\u00a0possible cause of\u00a0bee colony collapse, a real threat to California’s fruit and vegetable farming.<\/p>\n
