ELK GROVE, CALIF. — When graceful Tundra swans<\/a> fly into\u00a0the Sacramento Valley during their annual migration thoughts turn to the sounds of a\u00a0magnificent\u00a0Tchaikovsky ballet, Swan Lake.\u00a0In the summer after the swans\u00a0are\u00a0long\u00a0gone there’s another\u00a0composer’s songs that swirl through the valley\u00a0and minds of romantics\u00a0with the arrival of\u00a0Elk Grove’s famous Strauss Festival<\/a>. This week (July 23-26, 2015) a\u00a040 piece\u00a0orchestra, more than 50 dancers, singers and hundreds of volunteers produce the best, free annual event in the greater Sacramento area.
