His\u00a0paintings and murals\u00a0seen internationally in\u00a0galleries, museums and public spaces are very much alive with vibrant colors, colorful figures and stories to tell. Two special exhibits<\/a> at\u00a0Anderson Art Gallery (Sunset Beach) and Museum of Latin American Art\u00a0(Long Beach) feature spectacular works by the artist who\u00a0passed away\u00a0in 2006.<\/p>\n

If you’d like to watch artists creating their masterpieces on-location, head for the annual Los Olivos Quick Draw<\/a> held this year at historic Mattei’s Tavern. The art festival invites the public to participate through opportunities to purchase creations from 19 known artists who are given 60 minutes to complete original works.
