You never know what you’ll see when Salida’s Town & Country Parade<\/a> rolls down the street.\u00a0In the past they’ve had the motorized, oversized Save Mart Supermarkets cart. The parade which takes place on August 22, 2015 may turn out to be a\u00a0wild ride for participants and fans of the annual\u00a0festival held on the 4th Saturday in August.<\/p>\n

Even crazier\u00a0is the\u00a0annual Corning Olive Festival <\/a>with a parade that concludes with the\u00a0“Corning Does it Bedder Bed Races.” The Friday evening races on\u00a0August 21\u00a0at 6:30 p.m. are part of a two day event in Olive City.\u00a0\u00a0The beds must be real beds of any standard manufactured size with a minimum of four wheels.
