Mostly grown for their fruit, they have also become cultural object d&#8217;art featured at\u00a0autum festivals and shows.<\/p>\n<p>This weekend it&#8217;s\u00a0pumpkin season at the Glass Pumpkin Patch of Carmel on Sept. 19 &amp; 20, 2015. At this\u00a0outdoor show the public can\u00a0browse for unique, one-of-a-kind pumpkin-shaped glass objects to purchase and take home.\u00a0\u00a0Around the same time as\u00a0the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/california-glass-pumpkin-patch.html\">glass pumpkin patches<\/a>\u00a0are the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/california-gourd-festivals.html\">gourd festivals<\/a>.
