November is\u00a0a special time of year in\u00a0Lodi and Marysville (78 miles apart) as\u00a0tourists flock to the region to enjoy California’s spectacular scenery, hospitality and accommodations. While some fly in on jets, the most honored guests simply fly to their destination, not needing\u00a0reservations.<\/p>\n

California Swan Festival<\/a>\u00a0November 13-15, 2015 in Marysville attracts human tourists who come to see swan migrations. The three day event is great, but you can also take free swan tours most Saturdays, November through January at either 9:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. Tours last approx. 1 hour, reservations required: (916) 358-2869, eventbrite.com<\/p>\n

Sandhill Crane Festival<\/a> November 6-8, 2015 in Lodi also celebrates bird\u00a0migrations. Surrounding the festival are free tours\u00a0to the\u00a0South and North units of the Woodbridge Ecological Reserve the first three weekends of each month from October through February. \u00a0The Crane Wetland Tours begin 90 minutes before sunset and last approximately 2 hours.
