Because Turkey Trots such as the Belmont Shore Thanksgiving Day event organized by Justin Rudd donate registration fees to special causes, you \u00a0may not mind paying\u00a0an extra $5 to\u00a0$20\u00a0as prices go up. Some runs actually have limited space available, providing another great reason for pre-registering. The good news is that the majority of runs in California have plenty of space and some do allow registration on the day of the event so you can wing it.
