This year Foster Farms of California (the 7th ranked state for heads of turkey raised,)\u00a0was selected to provide two Nicholas breed turkeys for President\u00a0Obama&#8217;s Turkey Pardon. Prized for their\u00a0red heads and snow-white plumage, these\u00a0Modesto-raised birds\u00a0were hand-chosen for their\u00a0looks, sociability and good manners.
