On December 6, 2015 at 5:30 p.m. the celebrity couple throws the switch on the Christmas Tree at Mountain Station at an elevation of 8,516 feet,\u00a0overlooking the Coachella Valley. The public is invited to attend the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/christmas\/trees\/palm-springs-tree-lighting.html\">tree lighting ceremony<\/a>\u00a0held in the San Jacinto Mountains. Getting there on\u00a0Palm Springs Aerial Tramway is half the fun (wear your coat because it&#8217;s cold &amp; often snowy.)
