Sawdust Festival in Laguna Beach is named for the sawdust shavings on the ground at this outdoor venue in Laguna Canyon. In the summer Laguna Beach’s Sawdust Festival features 200 artists selling neat stuff. In the Winter the Sawdust Festival returns as\u00a0Winter Fantasy held on five weekends<\/a> leading up to Christmas. In this November-December rendition you’ll find around 175\u00a0artists, Christmas decor,\u00a0Christmas Trees, Santa Claus and serious gift buying for the holidays. It’s a shopping event primarily, but many come to window shop, take photos, mix & mingle, listen to the music, drink a beer in the garden and enjoy the very special setting which is\u00a0surrounded by hills. Especially interesting is how artist spaces have trees growing out of them.
