Though\u00a0creches, nativities and living nativities seem\u00a0less prominent than they once were, these\u00a0religious displays are cherished\u00a0traditions for many Christians, and a source of fascination for others. \u00a0In 2015 one the most interesting collections of creches is on display once again at the\u00a0annual <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/christmas\/nativity\/elk-grove.html\">Elk Grove Living Nativity Christmas Creche<\/a>.\u00a0The\u00a0organizers have more than\u00a0500 nativities from around the world made of  clay, wood, glass\u00a0or\u00a0metal, but they are opening up the event by\u00a0inviting people everywhere to participate by sharing\u00a0their own nativities or live musical presentations.
