Previously located in downtown Los Angeles, an\u00a0impressive collection of vintage signs <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/visit\/museum-of-neon-art-moving-to-glendale.html\">needed to find a new home<\/a>, and Glendale told the museum to &#8220;come on down!&#8221; On Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016, a party to celebrate this special day takes place at the museum&#8217;s new digs on 216 S. Brand Blvd. Among the jewels of its electrifying collection is The Brown Derby restaurant&#8217;s neon hat sign. The Hollywood &amp; Vine establishment where Cobb Salad was\u00a0invented opened on Valentine&#8217;s Day 1929. The landmark restaurant closed\u00a056 years later\u00a0in 1985 but its\u00a0neon sign was saved, passing through two private collections before being donated to the Neon Art museum. In addition to seeing the museum, take a 3-hour Neon Cruise which departs from 4th &amp; Main in Downtown L.A.
