MIDWAY CITY, CALIF. — In celebration of Easter\u00a0children were recently provided a day of fun,\u00a0games\u00a0and\u00a0great BBQ away from the worries and anxieties\u00a0of being homeless. The nonprofit American Family Housing<\/a> hosted\u00a0its 13th annual Easter celebration at the Brother’s of St. Patrick Monastery\u00a0with\u00a075 volunteers joyfully cooking, assisting with games and distributing fantastic Easter Baskets filled with chocolate bunnies, candy eggs and lots of goodies. More than 30,000 homeless have been assisted by the organization since 1985 and many of the clients served, end up becoming volunteers to help others.
