Orientation for beginners, interesting lectures, swimming, archery, camping\u00a0and sky watching are among the fascinating and fun activities. Info: rtmcastronomyexpo.org<\/p>\n<p>If you miss this fantastic festival, catch Nightfall, an autumn star party sponsored by the Riverside Astronomical Society. It is\u00a0held at the Palm Canyon Resort in Borrego Springs from October 27-30, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Other places to stare at\u00a0heavenly bodies include free Griffith Observatory (Los Angeles).
