But in California we&#8217;re all about &#8220;FREE&#8221; and fortunate for us, there are many passionate people\/benefactors bringing it to\u00a0the masses.<\/p>\n<p>FREE OPERA! When thousands of people packed into San Francisco&#8217;s Opera in the Ballpark;\u00a0San Diego Civic Concourse to see San Diego Opera, San Jose&#8217;s Opera in Bramhall Park; San Ramon&#8217;s Opera in Central Park; Walnut Creek or Palm Springs Opera in the Park, the crowds were a testimony to California&#8217;s interest in opera.
