California continues to produce the most watermelon of any U.S. state. According to National Watermelon Report for the\u00a0first week of August 2016 demand for San Joaquin Valley watermelon is STRONG; cantaloups MODERATE and\u00a0Honeydews\u00a0FAIRLY LIGHT.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/farms\/california-watermelon.html\"><b>Watermelon Facts<\/b><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Watermelon is commonly considered\u00a0a fruit but it is actually a vegetable! It is a member of the cucumber family.<\/li>\n<li>Watermelon contains 90% water.
