Every year the townspeople of Winters, Calif. blame themselves, sort of. They celebrate the great earthquake of 1892 with the Winters Earthquake Festival<\/a>. Their motto is: It’s Our Fault and We’re Proud of It! The festival on Aug. 26, 2016 features a repeat favorite, Time Bandits band. They’re rolling back the clock, inviting the public to shake it up at this totally free\u00a0street party. Meanwhile, we’re keeping our fingers crossed that the Big One doesn’t happen for a long time to come. Unfortunately some call summer\u00a0the Shake & Bake season, meaning hot weather and earthquakes go hand in hand.
