Manzanita Lake and Hat Creek Meadow in Lassen Volcanic National Park are already displaying nice lime, yellow, rusty orange and gold colors, a sign of things to come throughout the Sierra Nevadas and mountain ranges in the state.<\/p>\n

Fall foliage in California traditionally starts showing in early October and peaks by mid-to-late October.
