As Knott’s\u00a0Scary\u00a0Farm<\/a> pulls back removing one of its 2016 hauntingly eery scares,\u00a0Fear VR, a\u00a0hospital-themed attraction\u00a0based on\u00a0a mental disorder in which\u00a0individuals are considered dangerous to others and themselves, Disneyland adds a little edge to their cutesy Mickey’s Halloween Party<\/a>.<\/p>\n Unable to ignore\u00a0Halloween’s\u00a0popuality\u00a0other theme parks enjoyed, Disneyland in recent years has tested the waters with evening, ticketed events that include costumed\u00a0trick or treating for candy and special park attractions for “Party” guests.<\/p>\n In 2016 the shindig features Mickey’s\u00a0Frightfully Fun Parade announced\u00a0by the Headless Horseman of Sleepy Hollow who rides through the theme park with a flickering Jack-0-lantern. \u00a0There’s also Halloween Screams fireworks spectacular hosted by ‘Master of Scare-omonies’ Jack Skellington.
