The drought is also threatening to take its toll on a wonderful 96-year tradition at the National Historic Christmas Tree Lane in Altadena where a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/christmas\/trees\/altadena-christmas-tree-lane.html\">tree lighting ceremony<\/a> takes place on Sat. Dec.10, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>A new\u00a0county irrigation system installed by local volunteers\u00a0feeds the trees much needed drinks of water.
