The Titans of Mavericks (titansofmavericks.com) annual surfing event Call Alert\u00a0is:\u00a0Potential Swell. If things continue to show promise, potential is high that the event will run and next, the event is on.<\/p>\n<p>What does that mean? An all-star cast of the surfing world&#8217;s boldest &amp; best Big Wave surfers \u00a0will get the call. They have 24 hours to come from around the globe to San Mateo County beaches in California to compete. The window of opportunity for monstrous waves begins in November and closes in March.
