Good times leave lasting impressions that take us into adulthood with\u00a0optimism. Perhaps we lose it along the way as we try to pay bills, confront illness, losses and so many hurdles. But it only takes getting outdoors, seeing flowers, a parade, petting an animal or hopping on a carnival ride to bring back the smiles and feel happy inside once again &#8212; even if only for a while.
