Turn the corner onto Pacific Avenue and another character is decorating the greenbelt with carved pumpkins that spell out SUNSET BEACH.<\/p>\n<p>OK, it&#8217;s Halloween so this is all very normal. It turns out that Sunset Beach hosts an annual Halloween event, &#8220;PEANUTS, It&#8217;s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.&#8221; If you happen to be in town, the festival takes place on Oct. 28, 2017, 6-10 p.m. at Sunset Beach Community Center, 16861 12th Street.
