On the day after Thanksgiving (Nov.24.2017) the Mission Inn in Riverside flicks the switch on 5 million lights<\/a> that decorate the historic inn during the holidays. This year Duane and Kelly Roberts, who bring this gift to the community, announced a special guest performance by Kenny Loggins at 4:30 p.m. to watch the fireworks show. Bus loads of people from around the state come to see the free, annual display nightly through Jan.6, 2018. The couple has added a line of commemorative merchandise visitors this year can browse and buy.<\/p>\n Long Beach bays and waterways are lit with floating platforms the look like trees.<\/p>\n Oxnard’s Historic Distric lights up for the public to see.<\/p>\n San Francisco buses offer holiday lights tours for the annual displays ranging from San Francisco Airport to dozens of light installations in the annual Illuminate SF.<\/p>\n Zoos are preparing their holiday lights displays<\/a>, a special night-time attraction.<\/p>\n Theme parks are busy lighting up for special holiday events and shows.<\/p>\n Cities are in gear to celebrate with tree lighting ceremonies<\/a>.<\/p>\n Communities prepare for their\u00a0annual light parades<\/a>.
