The Chinese, Tet and Asian communities in California are just getting the party started with a bunch of Lunar New Year&#8217;s celebrations that include the huge <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/pomona-asian-expo.html\">Asian American Expo<\/a>\u00a0(pictured) at Fairplex in Pomona Jan.13-14, 2018. This event has grown from a trade show 37 years ago to a massive festival featuring contemporary Asian lifestyle events such as concerts, dancing, fashion shows &amp; shopping, comics, gaming and technology exhibits, plus traditional and new Asian foods, pageantry and more.<\/p>\n<p>Asian New Year activities are especially meaningful to anyone who owns a canine pet in The Year of the Dog 2018!\u00a0 If you&#8217;re a dog lover you&#8217;ll be glad to celebrate as parades and festivals pay homage to man&#8217;s best friend. You should attend.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/chinese-new-year.html\">Chinese New Year Festival Fun<\/a><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>San Francisco&#8217;s Chinese New Year Parade is the biggest in the USA!<\/li>\n<li>Monterey Park closes down the street for their weekend shindig.
