He loves California and compares his home to Cote d&#8217;Azur in the eastern part of the French Mediterranean, one of the many places he&#8217;s travelled to or worked. Though Paul isn&#8217;t unique in bringing international flavor and design to the Golden State, his accomplishments are noteworthy. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/people\/paul-gauweiler.html\">Read more&#8230;<\/a>&gt;<\/p>\n<h2>Worst Moment<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;Many years ago I forgot to put sugar in the strawberry filling of a wedding cake, so I added a scoop of salt, thinking it was sugar.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Best Moment<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;There have been many, but recently a customer handed me an envelope containing two $100 bills to see\u00a0Shen Yun when I said I couldn\u2019t afford it.&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Funniest Moment<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>&#8220;A customer who&#8217;s a fan of my products came in to buy something. He greeted a German lady entering the shop, eager to steer her to his favorite cookies and cakes.
