Boo-hoo!<\/p>\n<p>Don&#8217;t expect to see prices fall at California&#8217;s lobster fests and feeds, however. In Maine where the American lobster industry is based, retailers are selling live lobsters in the $7-12 per pound range, similar to past years. The wholesale market in the U.S. remains strong and in California where the prized food is shipped live and fresh, prices can be greatly inflated for festivals and fundraisers.<\/p>\n<h2>GONE!<\/h2>\n<p>Redondo Beach Lobster Festival organizers say it is on hiatus. They are examining future options with no hint of its return.<\/p>\n<p>Port of Los Angeles Lobster Festival is on hiatus with no future date set for return.
