Talk about cool! Summer&#8217;s heat isn&#8217;t quite finished and this weekend you can take a refreshing dive for a pumpkin surprise if you happen to be near the Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District&#8217;s Aquatic Center in Hemet.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/events\/halloween\/hemet.html\">Great Pumpkin Plunge<\/a>\u00a0takes place on Sept.29, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Maybe we&#8217;ve just scratched the surface of these unique pumpkin patches and events, but we&#8217;ve found over a dozen throughout the state and hope these pumpkin plunges continue to catch on. SeeCalifornia.com has been looking for them during the past couple years and there does seem to be a trend of growth with several more added this year. If you go&#8230; some are preregistration through parks &amp; rec departments. Some are all ages while some are kids only.
