Snow Summit Ski Resort in Big Bear Lake hosts their annual Dec.31 night-time ski trip down the mountain, illuminated by battery-operated lights. Snow Summit’s\u00a0New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade<\/a>\u00a0in Southern California’s San Bernardino mountains is one of several in California designed to light the way to a new year filled with glorious skiing.<\/p>\n The other event on the same evening at\u00a0Alpine Meadows in the high Sierras is billed as \u00a0the World’s Largest Torchlight Parade! In 2018-2019 there’s also a Kids Torchlight Parade for skiers and riders ages 5+ to join together for the final lap of 2018.
