The world&#8217;s largest rotating tram car which holds 80 passengers, travels along the breathtaking cliffs of Chino Canyon from the Valley\u00a0Station (elevation 2,643 ft.) to the Mountain Station (elevation 8,516 ft.)<\/p>\n<p>After a flood on February 14\u00a0the tourist attraction was closed for 46 days,\u00a0resulting in almost $4 million in repair costs and lost ticket revenues. The Aerial Tramway was on track for record attendance in fiscal year 2018-19 till nearly 100,000 visitors were displaced by the storm closure.<\/p>\n<p>Repairs included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>section of access road washed out over a drainage culvert<\/li>\n<li>second section of road replaced due to subsidence from rain run-off<\/li>\n<li>restoration of power to Mountain Station<\/li>\n<li>Mountain Station roof<\/li>\n<li>Valley Station fire suppression system<\/li>\n<li>Valley Station freshwater system<\/li>\n<li>Valley Station wastewater system<\/li>\n<li>Valley Station facade<\/li>\n<li>removal of rocks and debris from streams, parking lots and roadways<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Inspiration abounds this Spring after California&#8217;s plentiful rains have created super blooms in the deserts, incredible snowpack in the Sierra Nevada mountains, and plenty for travelers to see and admire on Spring Break.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/events\/easter\/easter-services.html\">See California this Easter<\/a><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>SEE Carlsbad Flower Fields Sunrise Service<\/li>\n<li>SEE the Pacific Ocean and beautiful piers at seaside services in Oceanside, Hermosa Beach, Huntington Beach and Newport Beach<\/li>\n<li>SEE wine vineyards at Sonoma&#8217;s\u00a0Cline Cellars Easter Sunrise Service<\/li>\n<li>SEE mountains at Yosemite, Mammoth, Tahoe, San Diego, San Francisco and Palm Desert sunrise services<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Great news!
