It is one of many\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/night-markets.html\">California night markets.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>From free movies outdoors or pool parties and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/entertainment\/concerts\/california-summer-concerts.html\">summer concerts<\/a>\u00a0(often provided by city parks &amp; rec departments,) staying up to celebrate the night is great for singles, couples, families and friends of all ages.<\/p>\n<p>Summer Nights are a special time in which visitors look for beaches to linger and stay a while, or even spend the night. It takes place annually, as does Point Reyes National Seashore&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/events\/point-reyes-nightofnights.html\">Night of Nights<\/a> always on July 12th.
