Congratulations to these hard working volunteers who put on a feast for the public to eat (at a price,) to benefit local charities.<\/p>\n<p>With the motto, &#8220;We Serve,&#8221; Lions Club International was founded over 100 years ago (1917) in the U.S., as a non-political organization with more than 46,000 clubs and 1.4 million members in \u00a0200 countries around the world.<\/p>\n<p>In California there are approx. 730 clubs and 20,000 members united to support the needy in virtually every local community.
