One of the few municipally-owned cemeteries in California was purchased by the city in 1897 (the mausoleum was acquired in 1972.) It is considered one of the city&#8217;s most important historical resources. Check it out at the annual celebration of the cycle of life and remembrance of ancestors on November 2, 2019.<\/p>\n<p>While Day of the Dead is normally celebrated in November, celebrations have already happened this year in more than a dozen cities, while one event was postponed in Healdsburg due to fire evacuations.
