Look at that Pumpkin Pie move! Ever seen Turkeys takes such a stride? If the food seems to be running away from you, perhaps you should consider getting in shape and heading for the pavement, sand, dirt or track so you can catch up, then catch the meal that awaits your consumption after you burn some calories at one of California’s turkey trots, gobble wobbles and other fun events.<\/p>\n

It’s not too soon to carve your path as the the first of many events actually starts this weekend with Turkeys on Trails 5K, 10K & Lil’ Turkeys 1 Mile Kids’ Run November 9, 2019, in Trabuco Canyon.<\/p>\n

Next weekend City of San Gabriel Turkey Trot and Costume Contest takes place November 16 at Vincent Lugo Park. City of South El Monte also hosts Turkey Dash 5K Run\/Walk and 1K Trot Turkey Dash next Saturday.<\/p>\n

November 17 runs include Arroyo Grande.<\/p>\n

The next week on November 23 head for Apple Valley’s 5K\/10K Turkey Run, Davis Turkey Trot, UCSB Turkey Trot in Santa Barbara, UCSC Turkey Trot in Santa Cruz, Santa Maria Turkey Trot, Tehachapi Hot Chocolate Turkey Trot, Turlock Turkey Trot or Yuba City Hands of Hope Turkey Trot.<\/p>\n

On November 24 there are Turkey Trots in Lompoc, Pleasant Hill and San Dimas.<\/p>\n
