Nothing says holidays like beloved Christmas songs. From Jingle Bells to Santa Claus is Coming to Town, the public is filled with cheer during this special time of year when musical tunes fill the air. Christmas concerts range from Mayor’s Tree Lighting Sing-Alongs, to school choirs and vocal groups on stage. Then there’s the community non-profit vocal groups and church choirs volunteering the voices for public enjoyment. And of course, the professional orchestras, choirs and entertainers all can’t resist doing crowd-pleasing holiday shows.<\/p>\n
Like barbershop quartets known for their Singing Valentine fundraisers in February, men’s (and often gay men choruses) come together to present once-a-year shows usually performed at Christmas.<\/p>\n
