Little did I realize that my city&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Was once a Pony Express stop<\/p>\n<p>Was inhabited by the Saclan (Miwok Indians)<\/p>\n<p>Prospered during the Gold Rush as stagecoaches and trains came through<\/p>\n<p>Was labeled &#8220;The Strip&#8221; from\u00a0many nightclubs popping up along what became Mt.
