Many Californians (especially families and students) are getting geared up for annual spring break vacations typically enjoyed at beaches and mountains. Spring offers another landscape experience that’s beautiful beyond words. The Flower Fields in Carlsbad (right photo) returns March through Mother’s Day with beloved Ranunculus fields, a 300′ X 170′ hillside American Flag made of petunias, Cymbidium orchid greenhouse, historic poinsettia display, Sweet Pea maze and antique tractor wagon rides through the fields.<\/p>\n
