The blast of canons rings through the canyons at the annual President’s Day Weekend Civil War Re-enactment<\/a> in Yermo, Calif. on February 17-19, 2012. The annual event invites the public to enjoy many colorful costumes, foods, unique vendors, and a walk through time to learn about America’s stormy past. In addition to this annual event, the park (which also offers camping) hosts an annual Mother’s Day Weekend Bluegrass Festival<\/a>, and Egg Hunt at Easter, and other exciting entertainment throughout the year. Spring is the ideal time to visit when temperatures are mild.<\/p>\n
