The fun doesn&#8217;t stop there&#8211; activities in cities throughout California go through April 8, Easter Day.<\/p>\n<p>There are over 450 cities and towns in California and nearly every one of them hosts at least one community egg hunt. If the city, the Kiwanis or Rotary isn&#8217;t hosting an event, look for them at hotels and resorts and churches, of course! Most\u00a0 eggs in the hunts are plastic and are filled with candy or toys. But a few towns actually dye real eggs for the kids to hunt&#8230; it is an orchestrated effort requiring huge boiling pots and lots of refrigeration.
