Here are but a few that caught our interest. We came up with them by thinking about places that inspire us, and seeing if there was going to be a service held in our favorite places. Try it, yourself!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Great places for Easter Sunrise Service this Sunday, April 8, 2012:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Yosemite Valley Chapel<\/strong> &#8211; yosemitevalleychapel.org<br \/>\nEaster Day Sunrise Service 7 a.m. at Lower Pines Campground; Easter Day Services 9:15 &amp; 11 a.m. at Chapel. Located in the breathtakingly beautiful Yosemite Valley in Yosemite National Park, California, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/weddings\/yosemite-chapel.html\">Yosemite Chapel<\/a> is Yosemite\u2019s oldest structure, built in 1879!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lover&#8217;s Point &#8211; Pacific Grove<\/strong> &#8211; Call city: (831) 648-3100. ci.pg.ca.us.<br \/>\nThe city recreation guide states that a sunrise service is held here each Easter morning. You should call to find out the time and details. Some local hotels may know, as well.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Spreckels Pavilion, Balboa Park &#8211; San Diego<\/strong>-balboapark.org<br \/>\nBalboa Park Sunrise Service: A nonsectarian Easter service was hosted by several area churches from 6:30 to 7:30 a.m. in 2011.\u00a0 While we&#8217;re not sure if it is back again in 2012, there will be a Sunday Organ Concert from 2 &#8211; 3 p.m. at Spreckels Organ Pavilion, 1549 El Prado # 10, San Diego, CA. Call: (619) 702-8138. one of the world&#8217;s largest outdoor pipe organs, to the City of San Diego in 1914 for the Panama-California Exposition. This unique organ contains 4,530 pipes ranging in length from the size of a pencil to 32 feet and is housed in an ornate vaulted structure with highly embellished gables. Spreckels Organ is one of the world&#8217;s largest outdoor pipe organs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>On the Beach, Newport Beach Peninsula<\/strong>. Call: (949) 673-3805. christbytheseanb.org A sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. at 14th Street Beach invites you to bring a beach chair or blanket. The Balboa Island Ferry will begin transporting cars from Balboa Island at 6 a.m. for this special service.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Mt. Helix, La Mesa<\/strong> &#8211; San Diego County. 4901 Mt Helix Dr. La Mesa, CA.\u00a0 Call: (619) 588-6901<br \/>\nEaster Sunrise at 6:30 a.m. is a beautiful service is held in the Mt. Helix Park Amphitheater. Shuttles run from the fire station at 10105 Vivera Drive in La Mesa beginning at 6 a.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>The Flower Fields, Carlsbad<\/strong> &#8211; Sunday, April 8,2012, 6:30 a.m. theflowerfields.com<br \/>\nThe Fields Church presents a sunrise service on Easter morning at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/traveltips\/time-for-the-drive-to-see-californias-remaining-flower-fields\/\">Carlsbad Flower Fields<\/a>. Dress warmly, and come prepared for great music and fellowship.
