Sacramento Jazz Jubilee<\/a>. Each Memorial Day Weekend the event kicks of with a Parade, Beads and music. The weekend is filled with dancing in the streets in Sacramento, and is the only event to take over the town is such a big way for four days!<\/p>\nSo why did they have to go and change its name? The event people say it’s not ALL jazz –but now includes other popular forms of American music such as blues, rock ‘n’ roll, Western swing, rhythm & blues, zydeco, Latin, and bluegrass. Sacramento Music Festival’s 2012 edition will, as always, be primarily staged in Old Sacramento.\u00a0 Over 400 performances in 20+ venues by over 70 bands showcase talents from around the nation (and globe) and for those attending, it’s non-stop entertainment.\u00a0 Zydeco fans will be glad to know that Lisa Haley & the Zydekats band, and Tom Rigney & Flambeau both are appearing.<\/p>\n
