Though there are\u00a0 many many festivals and fairs<\/a> this weekend, if you find yourself saying, “Isn’t she the cutest little chick in town?”, you’re probably at the Petaluma Butter & Eggs Days Festiva<\/a>l held on Saturday, April 28, 2012.\u00a0 Day 1 includes the town parade<\/a> and a day-long festival with food, music, vendors, themed contests and commemoration of Petaluma’s former distinction as the Egg Basket of the World during the early to mid-20th century. On Day 2, Sunday, April 29, stick around for the huge Antique Fair<\/a> held semi-annually on the streets of Petaluma.<\/p>\n

It used to be that when you visited Petaluma, you could smell that chicken smell in the air. For those who have had a chicken coop, been on a farm or purchased eggs at the farm, you know what we’re talking about.<\/p>\n
