Sure, they have a Walmart, a movie theater, Starbucks and all the trappings of modern life. But there&#8217;s also Columbia State Historic Park, St. James Historic Red Church built in 1859 and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/dining\/sonora-legends-soda-fountain.html\">Legends<\/a>, a soda fountain containing a bar some believe was built around 1850. It is spectacular to see!\u00a0 But don&#8217;t forget to order an old fashioned Root Beer Float, Blue Bunny Ice Cream, or browse books and antiques.
