If you&#8217;re up to the challenge, go see the state&#8217;s great assets in a single trip. You&#8217;re going to need about a week to 10 days to do it&#8230;that&#8217;s how the Brits, Italians, French and Germans do it, anyway.<\/p>\n<p><strong>See California Natural Wonders:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>DAY 1 &amp; 2 &#8211; Land at LAX and<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/beaches\/directory.html\"> hit the beaches<\/a> just five minutes from the airport. You fly over them during landing, in some cases.<\/li>\n<li>DAY 3 &#8211; Next head for the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/california\/regions-deserts.html\">California desert<\/a>, approx. two to three hours from the beach. You can see Joshua Tree State Park and take in Palm Desert lifestyle. It combines urban with barren.<\/li>\n<li>DAY 4 &#8211; Next, head for Sequoia Kings Canyon National Park where you can take in the giant redwoods, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/traveltips\/california-big-trees\/\">world&#8217;s biggest trees<\/a>. The drive is approx. 7 hours from Palm Springs.<\/li>\n<li>DAY 5 &#8211; End your tour at Yosemite National Park, home to<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/mountains\/yosemite-national-park-waterfalls.html\"> spectacular waterfalls<\/a> and famed Half Dome.
