Ron Singer went with a neighbor and took pictures before the closing of another season of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/laguna-beach-sawdust.html\">Sawdust Festival<\/a> in Laguna Beach. One of the longest running art festivals in California includes fine arts &amp; crafts in display coves scattered throughout the meandering grounds of the eucalyptus-shaded Laguna Canyon. Known for its sawdust shavings, the venue is one-of-a-kind!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here are some people I know and here&#8217;s what they&#8217;re doing this Labor Day Weekend:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bryn: Sacramento &#8211; Return from basket weaving class with famous Native American weaver in Yosemite.<\/li>\n<li>Mom &amp; Dad: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/dining\/santa-maria-tritip-bbq.html\">Santa Maria BBQ<\/a> with pinquinto beans, salsa, bread, tri-tip, local wine.<\/li>\n<li>Keli: Helping hubby pack for his new job 500 miles from home.<\/li>\n<li>CC: Writing his next story for the Sierra magazine.<\/li>\n<li>Chris: Working at Farmers Market selling crafts, then<a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/festivals\/food-festivals-greek.html\"> going to Greek Festival<\/a> to eat and dance.<\/li>\n<li>Betty &amp; Corky: Preparing for their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.stockteam.com\/california\/bbjazz-festival\/\">BB Jazz Festival<\/a> taking place next week.<\/li>\n<li>Guillermo: Wall texturing and painting &#8211; wants to get the job done, then move on.<\/li>\n<li>Ali: Not leaving West Coast yet for Atlanta. Sticking around Oregon.<\/li>\n<li>Bill: Goes daily to Los Angeles County Fair, where he paints artwork.<\/li>\n<li>Me: Maybe wander to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/traveltips\/civil-war-battles-on-hot-labor-day-weekend\/\">Civil War event<\/a> across the street from my home in the park, and definitely <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/piers\/directory.html\">walk on a pier<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Katy:\u00a0 No <a href=\"http:\/\/www.seecalifornia.com\/casinos\/temecula-pechanga.html\">casino trips<\/a> this weekend, but next week it&#8217;s a whole new game!<\/li>\n<li>You: What are you doing?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What are you doing?
