She died in 2001, 11 years short of the centennial celebration, but is remembered fondly for her cheery outlook on life, served with the Western hospitality that California became famous for.\u00a0 Apple Valley where Dale &amp; Roy lived on the Double R Bar Ranch, pays homage to this beautiful and talented queen on September 29-30, 2012.
