Rogue Fool Fest in L.A. April Fools Day

Rogue Artists Ensemble presents the party of the year: Rogue Fool Fest at Mimoda Jazzo Dance Studio on April 1. Libations, Beauties of Burlesque, Puppets, Art & Oddities, Mysterious Prizes, Wild Puppets, laughs-a-million, drinks, and spectacle are included in the fanciful night of fun. It will include stilt walkers, hula hoop acts, comedy by Mathew Patrick Davis, burlesque by Christina Aimerito, puppets by the Rogue Artists Ensemble, dance party mixes by DJ Sockpuppet, and live music from The Peculiar Pretzelman. Take part in foolish entertainment at an affordable price of $10 presale, $15 door.

The Peculiar Pretzelmen, M. Incroyable accompanied by Mr. Deacon, Party Paul, Riverboat Gambler, and The Douglas Lee are part of the merry entertainment in a theater company run by a collective of multi-disciplinary artists and designers–NOT actors. By combining ancient storytelling techniques (music, dance, masks, puppetry) with modern technology (digital media, special effects and theatrical illusions), the Rogues cultivate a unique style of live performance unlike any other. They define the combined use of these and other underrepresented art forms as Hyper-theater.

Rogue Fool Fest takes place on Friday, April 1 from 9 pm until 1 am. General admission at the door is $15. Tickets purchased prior to March 24 are $10, and tickets purchased prior to March 31 are $12. This is a strictly 21 and over event. Please bring a photo ID.

Steampunk attire is strongly suggested for maximum enjoyment. The King and Queen of Steam will be crowned for best steam punk costume.
